As many of you know, 2003 brought the passing of a great Angus bull, Hunts Calculator 2720. Simply put in the words of a fellow Angus breeder, “Most cattlemen will live a lifetime and never own a bull as good…”. We are fortunate that HPR was home to Calculator since he was a yearling. Thanks, Kevin, for breeding one of the best. A legacy lives on in hundreds of progeny throughout the US and abroad. The last of his natural sons were sold in our 2004 Private Treaty offering. They were perfect examples of everything that made this bull so good in so many ways. HPR is home to many outstanding daughters of this great bull. Calculator’s cape will soon hang in the Angus Hall of Fame… a great tribute to this one-of-a-kind bull.
